The hotel provided a fantastic weekend experience with lovely and helpful staff at reception and the bar. The evening meals were basic but mostly enjoyable, and the breakfast buffet was very nice. The entertainment was good fun, especially Rod Stewart's performance. The room was comfortable, clean, and all amenities worked perfectly; however, it was very warm and needed the window slightly open for ventilation.

The staff was friendly and helpful, although some areas of the hotel need refurbishing. No more bingo now as Shearings has stopped it without explanation.
